Alonzo L. Jones has dedicated his life to public service and the people of Danville. Elected to City Council in 2010 and re-elected in 2014, 2018, and 2022, he served as Vice Mayor from 2016 to 2018 and as Mayor beginning in 2018, with re-elections in 2020 and 2022. A proud graduate of Danville Public Schools and a United States Armed Forces veteran, Mayor Jones brings steady leadership, deep community roots, and an unwavering commitment to Danville's future.
